Taiji
Company Profile
TaiJi is an innovation-driven game development company focused on designing and developing mid-to-large scale multiplayer online games. As player expectations for immersive storytelling and complex gameplay continue to grow, the company faced increasing challenges in producing large volumes of narrative and quest content efficiently.
To address this, TaiJi migrated its content generation infrastructure to Claude Sonnet 4 on Amazon Bedrock, building an AI-assisted platform to support storyline writing, quest design, and NPC character creation. With stronger contextual understanding and multi-step reasoning, the solution enables designers to generate branching narratives and structured game content more efficiently.
By shifting from manual writing to AI-assisted content production, TaiJi significantly improves narrative consistency, reduces repetitive work, and accelerates game world prototyping for faster development cycles.
Migration Technology
This platform is built on AWS Cloud, with API Gateway serving as the unified entry point to manage requests from design, art, and development tools. Requests are securely routed via HTTPS to backend content generation services running on Amazon EKS, where microservices for storyline generation, quest design, and character creation are containerized and managed through Amazon ECR for scalable and version-controlled deployments.
A key highlight of the architecture is the deep integration of Claude Sonnet 4, which powers three core capabilities: generating branching storylines and dialogue scripts, automating quest objectives and item descriptions, and assisting in the creation of NPC characters with distinct behaviors and language styles.
The platform uses a layered data architecture: Amazon RDS (MySQL) stores structured game content and metadata, Amazon S3 stores unstructured outputs such as generated text and prompt templates, and OpenSearch analyzes prompt usage, generation logs, and model performance for observability and optimization.
This highly decoupled and scalable architecture enables a seamless AI-driven content production pipeline, helping TaiJi transition from manual planning to an AI-assisted creative workflow, significantly improving productivity and collaboration.
